Saltex 25 recap: meeting the needs of landscaping operations

Saltex 25 recap: meeting the needs of landscaping operations

Did you know that Re-flow can break down jobs into plots?

This is an essential step for any field management software built to the specific needs of commercial landscaping.

Saltex 25

Re-flow has worked in the commercial landscaping sector for a number of years but 2025 was the first time we exhibited at Saltex at the NEC.

We spoke to lots of organisations with different management systems. Some were just starting their digital journey and some had tried other software – often Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software – but found them poorly suited for assigning work, managing crews, collecting evidence, or handling health and safety.

Other more general pain points were common too:

  • Paper-heavy processes
Many teams were still using paper job sheets, paper safety checks, handwritten notes, and manual logs for qualifications and equipment. Nothing was centralised, and information had to be typed up later or chased over the phone.

  • Inefficient scheduling and programming
Real-time visibility was missing. Teams relied on calls, texts, or supervisors physically checking on progress. Programming routes, planning weekly work, and reacting to last-minute changes were all slow and error-prone.

  • Slow return of information
Photos, completion notes, and evidence came back either late or inconsistently. This created delays for invoicing, reporting, and compliance.

Re-flow Field Management offering a solution for commercial landscapers

It was great to speak to organisations ready to move on from manual methods and onto a straightforward operational system that could replace paper, tidy up their workflows, and give them real-time clarity.

With smart scheduling, site and asset management, compliance, and reporting, Re-flow is built to address all of these needs.

See case studies from Re-flow’s landscaping clients and our recent article exploring ATV’s use of the software and how Re-flow’s configurability stood out.

A new feature shaped around landscapers: Re-flow handling multiple plots

The team also showcased a new feature at the show. Commercial landscapers often work across several plots in one day – particularly on housing developments, large estates, and multi-zone parks. Traditionally, most systems require a separate job for each plot, which quickly becomes repetitive and time-consuming in practice.

Re-flow now allows you to create a single event that contains multiple plots in one job, meaning operatives can:

Move between plots within one job sheet, recording completed work and uploading evidence all on one page. This maintains instant clarity and filtering to specific plot for each submission, and speeds up the recording process.

Add plot-specific documents and site information for a smoother workflow and streamlining. Job documents are where they should be and clearly associated with their relevant tasks.

The positive impact on setting up jobs and managing information makes a huge difference. It means increased clarity, speed, and compliance.
