Team Re-flow continues their year on the road. This time, we were delighted to attend Utility Week Live 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. UWL marks our debut event for the utilities sector, showing off our award-winning field management software to businesses specializing in telecommunications, water, electrical services and more.

Our contingent consisted of Head of Sales and Marketing, Ashley Wing, Adam Kyffin, Aaron Bilenkyj and Graham Pardoe from our sales team, as well as Patrick Tinkler and Ellen Cotter from the marketing team.

With so many new faces on the stand, it was also great to bump into a few familiar ones. We were lucky enough to catch up with our long-term clients, Glanville Environmental, who have been taking full advantage of the software to increase operational efficiency and harvest higher quality data. Stopping by our stand was Hollie Cushion, SHE Advisor, and Dave Middleton, Survey Manager.

In addition to exhibitor stands, the event hosted several programmes around the topics of industry challenges, collaborative exchange and innovation. The Challenge programme was split across three stages - Customers & Teams Stage: Getting the most from our people, Smart Stage: Delivering digital transformation and the Net Zero Stage: Taking a sustainable, efficient and resourceful approach.

The Collaborate Exchange programme consisted of peer-to-peer meetings with 20 industry professionals, discussing their views on challenges in the sector. The Innovation programme was all about sharing the latest thinking on expediting and scaling innovation to deliver net zero targets and provide better results for clients.

There were also several keynote speakers who provided attendees valuable insights into range of topics including the climate crisis, safeguarding data, resilience and cloud innovation just to name a few. Overall, the event’s programme provided a valuable opportunity for our team to catch up on the latest industry trends, challenges and innovations.

Looking to further expand our community in the utilities sector, UWL was an excellent opportunity to spread the word by showing off how our software can help businesses in the industry streamline operational processes, master their HSE management and grow more sustainably.

While we look forward to attending next year, there’s still a busy calendar of events ahead of us. Next up will be one of our flagship events – Traffex. We’ll be on Stand D35 showing off our software once more, as well as running free support sessions for our existing clients.
