When successful highways companies adopt field management software, they naturally have high expectations. After years of growth, they seek a top-tier digital solution to support their critical processes – from scheduling to asset and job management – and every other key aspect of their operations.

What’s more, they need to know that the software is capable of growing and scaling with their business.

At this year’s Highways UK event (16-17 October), Re-flow Field Management’s show team are preparing for their most generous offering yet.

First up, future customers are invited to the Re-flow stand (stand 86) for a free demo and an opportunity to discover how Re-flow’s software can fit and flex with their business. It’s an opportunity to clarify the ways and means that Re-flow can make companies more efficient, more streamlined, and more profitable.

Highways UK: this year’s offer for existing Re-flow customers

Re-flow’s greatest strength is its flexibility, making it ideal for businesses of all sizes, including large enterprises that need to maintain the high standards that brought them success.

Re-flow are holding support sessions to help existing customers make the most of the software. Customers can learn about upcoming features like fatigue tracking, automation tips, and more about current features like the scheduler and the logic of Re-flow’s customisable forms. These sessions are the opportunity to unlock the full potential of Re-flow and to highlight any challenges you may have.

Re-flow clients attending Highways UK are invited to sign up to these sessions here.

On Tuesday 16th at 2pm join Jointline’s head of QSHE, Julie Davidson, and Re-flow's head of sales and marketing, Ashley Wing, on the Digital Construction Stage to hear about Jointline’s digital transformation journey.

The following day Re-flow's business development executive, Helen Egner, will be part of the Doing more with less by embedding digitalisation throughout project lifecycles panel on the Digital Construction Stage at 12:25pm.

Case study: How Highways Traffic Management used Re-flow to oversee a large remote workforce

Managing remote sites, maintaining communication with operators, dealing with sudden changes, collecting forms and information from site in a way that is actionable, and building up clear audit trails throughout the process is a challenge.

Highways Traffic Management (HTM) discovered this when they converted to Re-flow. ‘We were changing, and we needed a system that would change with us,’ Marcus Casey, HTM’s business director, told us…

HTM and centralised communication and management with Re-flow

Re-flow provided a centralised platform that enabled HTM to maintain seamless communication with its remote workforce. This ensured that all operatives received real-time updates and instructions, significantly reducing the risk of miscommunication, and enhancing overall safety on-site.

With accurate, real-time data comes more accurate reporting. Thanks to customisable and exportable reports, company processes and information can easily be viewed on Re-flow. Changes can be immediately communicated across the business. The team now have the breathing room to identify the challenges and opportunities ahead while making data-driven decisions on how to move forward.

Greg Baldwin, Highway Traffic Management’s business director said, ‘The flexibility that came with Re-flow allowed us to change our processes, revisit what was necessary and cut out a lot of the areas that weren't efficient. The rollout process was very simple, very easy, again from the support from the team.’

Since taking on Re-flow, improvements have been felt throughout the business. Sean Langley, one of HTM’s traffic management operatives, provided some highlights: ‘We use it in the morning to log what we've done for site photographs, for briefing log, work confirmation, stuff like that. We've got so many jobs to do, it just makes it so much easier during the day.’
